It is very often perceived that mental health and mental illness are the same. But both of them have a really noticeable difference. Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, as well as emotional well-being. Whereas, the other one is a disorder that changes the pattern in a person’s behavior or thinking. So, mental health itself doesn’t mean a disorder. Research has not diagnosed many people with poor mental health having a mental illness or disorder.

What is mental health?

Like how there is a state to your body and parts, there is a state to your mind and emotional being, that is demonstrated by mental health. Like how you finish your work with your hands, when you are physically able, you will be able to think, feel, and act well when you are mentally able. There is poor mental health, which is often confused as mental illness but is not the same. When you have poor mental health, you will have difficulty in thinking, being able to enjoy certain things in life, etc.,

What is mental illness?

Here, poor mental health results from an illness or disorder. In fact, people actually feel their lives are out of their control, and they constantly feel unhappy.
